Close-toed shoes or boots required.

If clients do not come to the farm with appropriate footwear, the session will be modified and no animal interaction will take place for that session.

Dress for the weather

Programming runs rain or shine so ensure you check the weather and dress appropriately. We do have access to both sheltered and open air spaces. (Programs will not be running in the event of extreme weather such as thunder and lightning)

Helmet (Ages 12 and Under)

We require all individuals aged 12 and under to wear a helmet while working with the horses.

You are welcome to bring your own (a CSA approved bike helmet is fine), otherwise one will be provided for you.

No. Parents will not be able to watch the sessions take place.

Parents are asked to leave the farm during the sessions.

No. All sessions with the horses use what is called “ground work”. The client's interaction with the horses will be with human feet always on the ground.
